Holiday!

s Phew…I have been uploading photos for the whole entire day…finally it is finished.
Well…after the exam…all I did was sleep…eat…and watching Prison Break.
Can you believe it…I finished the whole Season 1 and 2 Prison Break series in 4 days…
it was just horrible…
my face was pale…
dark eyes…
big black eye bags…
not something that you would like to see…
I would have scared the hell out of ya…
trust me…it aint pretty…

I didn’t choose to chase it…
it was rather I HAVE GOT NOTHING TO DO SO I WATCHED IT kinda thing…
prison break was nice at first…but after that…SIEN…
I can even guessed what were their next move…
and all they did was running here and there…
doing something and nearly…NEARLY succeed…!!!
What the hell…so freaking pek cek lor…hmph…

After being so lame and staying at home doing nothing after exam…
Regan and I finally went for a 2 days holiday tour around Adelaide.
I planned the trip…
did some survey…
hired a car…
got some maps…
and off we went…!
Who said that girls can’t be independent?
Who said girls can’t read a bloody map?
WHO? WHO???
And girls are NOT lousy drivers!!!!

=)

Okay then…as I was saying…like I always do…I will first show you my ride!

Hohoho…Toyota Camry…my love…my darling…

Too bad I had to return it…haiz…

Our first stop was Adelaide Hills’ Mount Lofty…
nothing much there…accept for the view…you can actually see the whole Adelaide up there…

the square thingy in the middle is Adelaide City…

in case you don’t know…Adelaide City is a planned city…as so they have this well organised plan for every building and they happened to decide to build it in a square shape…
How cool is that?

Very COOL I would say…

After taking some photos…we made our way to Handorf…

Some brief history on Handorf for you people…

Handorf is Australia’s oldest permanent Germanic settlement…

The first group of German settlers arrived in this place and they developed it into a small town…and it has become a tourist attraction…

As so you can see a lot of their old German buildings…and most importantly…FOOD…mMmmM…my favorite…

In Handorf...they have lotsa shops...really cool shops that you won't find anywhere...

This here is a shop that sells Aboriginal art and craft...

I went into a shop that sells all kinds of pretty stuff...i was madly taking pictures because the stuff in there were really beautiful and unique...

Yummy cakes...you wanna eat?????

The cakes are actually SOAP!!

They look freaking real!!!!

I still have lotsa pictures...but too many to upload em...show you sikit sikit Isu Isu can adi la...=)

Regan said this pic is so damn Pai Kua...hehehe...can't agree more...

Siao Kia...

This is the fire place of the restaurant we went...Really nice...

We were starving...and it's time to EAT!!!

See how hungry we were?

Steak!

Salmon Steak!

After lunch...we went to a Strawberry Farm...

We picked our own strawberries!!! SEOK..!

I tell you guys one thing...all the big strawberries are hidden inside the bush...
You will have to actually reach inside the bush to find big big huge huge strawberries!!
Like this one here...hehe...*Hao Lian-ing*

After awhile of plugging...i decided that it was enough...

This was my box of strawberries and Regan had another container...

So if we added up both containers...it would be enough already...

Regan's largest strawberry is on the left...
Mine is in the middle...
The last one is the normal size strawberries that we usually have...
See how huge the strawberries were???
Champion: ME!!!

Next stop...

They have all kinds of farm animals...and what made it so fun was that we can actually interact with animals...by interacting i mean petting and holding em...*joy*

It can speak you know....*Hello* *Hello*...

It's true...i heard it with my own two ears...

Swear...no lie...!

Little chick...so cute!!!

I was holding it you know!

hehe...funny but cute looking alpaca...

A small mumu cow...

Small meh meh sheep...

Aiyo...guinee PIG!!!!

O.M.G....CUTE!!!!!!!!

Cute rabbits!!! really adorable........!!!!!!

I can feel its heart beat while holding it...

Haven't felt that for a long time already..

Can't wait to go back to hold me precious Cookie Boobie..!

Wait...that came out wrong...Cookie Boobie?

Boobie?...reminds me off papaya...-.-

Er...what it's called again?

Forgot...

But it has a black or purple toungue..

We fed milk to the sheep...the white one was really naughty...it was running and pushing the black sheep away so that it could suck on the bottle it wanted....aiyo....beh tahan....

Reminded me of my naughty cookie...!Muaks...

Regan's first interaction with kangaroos...

Ugly and scary looking emu...

We were given a handful of carrots for us to feed the animals...and the keeper said

"If you want to feed the emu...hold your palm straight...if not...HIDE THE CARROTS!"

LOL

The emus were following us around...scared the hell out of me...

WARNING: EMUS ARE NOT CUTE! I REPEAT...NOT CUTE!

Next destination...

They have all kinds of animal skin displayed...

We can touch and feel the testure of their skin to give us an idea of what it feels like...

I am sure i don't have to go around telling you guys which animal skin is which ya?

Haha...

Haven't had Paddle Pop Rainbow ice cream for ages already...

Miss it Miss it...!!

We went on a tour around the Zoo in a bus...

It is kinda like the humans are in the cage while the animals are running free kind of thing...

You know what...there were only 2 of us on the bus...awesom...private tour...kekeke...

Bambi!!!!
Our guide said that they are facing extinction...!
WHY??? NO fair!!

Baby rhino...!
Guess how old is it...
Answer:
2 weeks...
Soooo cute!!!

Zebras...

Do you know that each zebras has different pattern of stripes?

And when a baby zebra is born...they identify their mummy by looking at their ass..

By ass i mean literally THE ASS...their behind!

This is because in the wild...they have to constantly run from preditors...and all the baby can see is the adult zebra's Ka Cheng...so it would have to remember it's mummy's ass stripes to know which zebra to follow...

Facinating?

Hell Yeah!!

Baby zebras have a lighter color stripes...like this one here...

It has brown color stripes...

An adult zebra will have black and white stripes like this one here...

The giraff on the left is only 9 weeks old...aiyoo...chubi...

There are still lotsa animals...but still...isu isu can adi la ya...
We ended our day after the tour...

The next morning...
We went...

Tailem Town is a historic village...they preserve all the buildings...EVERYTHING...
Almost all the things we saw inside were originally used and build by the people who lived there hundred years ago (from 1900s onwards)!!!

Trains...

Gas pumping anyone?

old Cameras...
Old Fire station...

Cool huh...

After that...we went on our way to Victor Habour...
On our way...we had to cross a river to get to the other side...
This here is a ferry we took to cross the river...

Kinda fun though...i wonder why didn't the government just build a bridge instead!
=.=

Next...Victor Habour..!

Can you see a rock that looks like a human face?

The bridge across to Granite Island...

This is the best pancake ever...really delicious...
Better than the #$$@ pancake house...lousy service and it's freaking expensive...

Not much in Victor Habour...and it was really really hot!!
Beh tahan...
Took some pictures...and faster ran back to our car...
Last stop was McLaren Vale...

I am sure i don't have to blog anything about this one here...cause i already did in the previous blogs...
Not much here except for Wine hunting..haha
Well thats all...2 days trip around Adelaide...
Exhausting...
But Fun..!
=)
