Malaysia!!!

Today just made me miss home even more! Malaysian student in South Australia actually organised a few events to celebrate the upcoming Merdeka Day.

And today I went to their food festival in my university, I was literally…SHOCKED!
SATAY!!!!
BUBU-CHA CHA!!!
LAKSA!!!
NASI LEMAK!!!
CHAR KOAY TEOW!!!
MAMAK CURRY CHICKEN!!!
ROTI CANAI!!!
AND A LOT MOREE!!!!

I never felt so much at home before until today…the smell of home…and literally I mean the SMELL!! And all the wonderful taste of home!

You guys have no idea how much I misses home…and how badly I wanted to go back…

Erm…the feeling after reading that post was…heartache? I am not a news lover, and definitely don’t really care about the political issues in our country, but for the first time, I actually took some time, sat down quietly and read it…

To be honest, I love Malaysia! It is my home, and I want to go back to my home country. It is just the treatment we Chinese get that is bothering me, and not to forget how the government runs the country. It is no secret; they run it with discrimination and prejudice against us. Why? We are all Malaysians, aren’t we?

While walking down to the basement for my laundry, I actually asked myself “what do I like about Australia?”, “what are the things that Australia have and Malaysia don’t?”

Answer is simple, I like nothing about Australia, besides the weather, and the cute koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, penguins, #$$^ %&^$^&*(……..

Okay okay…that is not the point…

My point is…I like they way how they run their country, they have really good welfare for their citizens, no matter if its education, medical, or to the free busses they provide for the use of its residents…everything is so well organised…

I know that we can do better…but it’s hard…right? Really hard…because nobody listens to the Chinese…we are only second class citizens………….

Yeap yeap...we visited a wile life park few weeks back...and had BBQ in the park too...here are some really cool pictures of the animals in the park...

New species found!This is one smart primate! and a hairless one! Apparently he stole mama's sunglasses and Lindsay's jail pyjamas! I still haven't thought of a name for this new species yet...anyone any suggestion?

Hi...as i promised...I'm gonna show you my new place..although it's not really NEW anymore cause I've been staying here for more than a month now...but...i bet you guys would still like to see it right? I'll take that as a YES!! =p

My new place is located in the central of the city...really convenient...shops..restaurants...cinemas...clubs...fast food outlets...shopping malls etc are just a few walks away...and it takes me 5 minutes to walk to uni everyday...! *woot*

I like my new place alot...cause i got the whole apartment for myself...but the funny part is...the kitchen...living room...dining room...and bedroom are actually...................IN ONE ROOM! you'll know what i mean................

well..now u know how my new place looks like...it's not big...but definitely comfortable...and i enjoy being in my own space...i don't have to whisper talking on the phone when it's late at night anymore...i don't have to worry about waking other people up when i got home late or (can't finish)...and most of all....I HAVE MY OWN TV!!! there's nothing much showing on the TV though...but better than nothing...if you know me well you'll know that I'm a square head...i enjoy relaxing on the sofa and watching movies...i can just sit there whole day with the remote control in my hand and ASTRO!!!! believe it or not...i enjoy watching TV to the extend that i even watch the news on TV now! O.M.G. should buy 4D or something...because i never liked watching the news...

see how desperate i am? *sob*

Anyway...common over and visit me if you guys are free or misses me too much...my sofa will be ready when u guys get here...=p ( not giving up my bed man...stop dreaming!)

No Idea...freakin people doin freakin stuff!

I just finished watching "Die Hard 4"...the movie was okay i guess...although they exaggerated the stuns alot...like flying cars killing a helicopter or Bruce Willis surviving all those awful scenes...common...a real person would be dead already!!!but over all...not bad i would say...Love Love Love Bruce Willis...and also surprised to c Maggie Q...she's so pretty....

Well everything went great...BUT on our way back...obviously walking...an Australian actually called us "fucking Asians" while we walked past him...

Erm...to be honest i was abit upset with it...because I've encountered so many discrimination here in Australia...

It was hard for me when i first came here...the way people talked or looked at you...it's just upsetting! We are like...i don't know...not good enough for them? I didn't know why they had to act this way...or were they just idiots and morons?

There's no place like home...really! Although some other people plays the BIG BULLY part back home...But...at least no one speaks like this right at your face...while we have to act like we didn't hear anything and continue walking...are we cowards or something? Or should we say or do something back?

Everything just sucks...most of my friends have had the same experience...no matter if it's here in Adelaide...or Melbourne...or Tasmania...or Brisbane or England or whatever country!!! THEY JUST DON'T REALLY TAKE US SERIOUSLY ENOUGH TO BE SERIOUS!!! u get me?????

BLAH...I'm just whining...haven't done that for quite some time already...feel more comfortable after writing all this! i know i should just ignore them...shouldn't let idiotic people ruin my mood...because they are just assholes and jerks! and i have no reasons to be upset...right?

Ice Breaker Ball!

Last Saturday my friends and I went to a ball called Ice Breaker Ball! For the sake of the ball...my mum had to mail me my prom dress from Penang together with my heels and everything...wahaha...

We had to pay AUD50 for the ball...and after all those trouble...we decided not to spend money on the make up and hair...so we did em ourselves! I reckon the hair and the make up came up pretty good that night...=p

The ball was okay i guess...we got to experience something different...it was nothing like what we have in Malaysia...or at least this experience is better then what i had back in the Penang Inti Prom! =p...

My Gary Cao Ge's CD!!

I'm really happy because i got a package mailed to me few days back and guess what's inside?

Thank you so much Gen for getting the CDs for me at Penang and went through all those trouble mailing it...appreciate it alot.

Well...actually I've downloaded Gary's songs from the net...but then i wanted to support him by buying his CD! But i didn't buy the CDs though...Gen gave em to me FREE OF CHARGE! wahaha...envy not???

Erm i think I've been driving my friends crazy because i kept singing his songs whenever we go for Karaoke...and i talk about Gary like 24-7...and they are like "Can you please stop!!", "Stop promoting him, we don't wanna know!" Well it can be really hard to keep something to yourself when u honestly think that Gary is great...and you want to share with your friends...but then not everyone appreciate it.

He is an inspiration to me...his path to success inspired me in so many ways...it was not always a smooth journey for him in the entertainment industry...and many people doubt him...but then he kept moving forward with his believes and his passion for singing...and that was what brought him here! He has really powerful voice...a very creative mind...and a very good personality...He is always so humble and true...

This might sound weird or stupid...but i actually feel peaceful whenever i listen to his songs...i would play his songs when i feel pressured or stress...it helped alot...especially when i was going through my exams...

Different people will have different method of relaxing and this seems to be my way of relaxing...but the sad part is I've been called " Siao Cha Bo" because i told my friends about it...DAMN! CANNOT ONE WOR?????!!!!!!!

Hm...his songs are very unique...but some people might not like his style...but then...we should always try new style and accept new things....and i absolutely love every single song in his albums...
